Center for Training and Development & the Institute for Sales and Service Excellence
College of the Desert’s Center for Training and Development houses a multitude of programs and services including the Workplace Learning Resource Center, Advanced Transportation Technologies & Energy Center, as well as the Community and Contract Education functions. FCM supported the team in reorganization of the center staff, recruitment of a commissioned business development manager, and re-branding of the center. The re-branding effort resulted in a customer-centric brand initiative that completely revitalized the center with new technology tools to improve operational efficiencies. FCM also developed the brand strategy and marketing and communications campaign for college’s Institute for Sales and Service Excellence (ISSE), a unique 6,000 square-foot training facility to service the traditionally fluid retail and tourism industries in the Coachella Valley.
