Organizational video highly effective in targeting employers and
job seekers

Pasadena, CA — The Foothill Workforce Development Board (FWDB) and Full Capacity Marketing, Inc. (FCM) are proud recipients of an International Davey Award for the development of FWDB’s organizational video.  The FWDB serves employers and job seekers in the San Gabriel Valley in California, by making investments in workplace skills development and
job-specific training to help workers gain skills or obtain education and credentials that employers value.

FWDB Executive Director, Phil Dunn, said, “Our 32-member board comprised of business owners, corporate executives, local educational organizations, labor unions, economic development agencies, government entities and community based organizations are highly dedicated to ensuring that we have the right strategies and solutions for youth, job seekers and our local employers.  We are very proud of the work of our board, and the organizational video reflects our mission so well.”

The FWDB is one of seven local workforce boards in the Los Angeles region that is funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to develop strategies and solutions for the area’s human capital development.

“The organizational video is part of an overall communications plan developed for the FWDB,” said FCM CEO, Celina Shands Gradijan.  “The video is housed on the FWDB’s newly redesigned website and is used in community presentations to help educate the community about the important work of the FWDB’s board and service providers.”
