FCM RECOGNIZED WITH FIVE INTERNATIONAL DAVEY AWARDS IN 2013

Three separate projects score the Davey for creative excellence

San Diego, CA — Full Capacity Marketing, Inc. (FCM) took home five International Davey Awards including one for its newly launched website, and four for its work with customers in Washington, D.C. and Michigan, as announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) this month.

With nearly 4,000 entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. ¬†“This year’s Davey Award winners truly represent the best small firms worldwide. The work entered into this year's competition embodies a smart, tactful approach to creativity and highlights the capabilities and forward thinking mindset that makes small agencies so unique,” said IAVA Executive Director, Linda Day.

FCM scored three of the five Daveys for the Association of Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) and its One In Three campaign. AEO is the national nonprofit and business trade association that represents the U.S. microbusiness industry and microbusinesses, those businesses with five or fewer employees. Its members are microbusiness development organizations (MDOs) and the microbusinesses/entrepreneurs they serve. FCM developed a video about the campaign that won in the categories of Online Film and Video - Charitable/Not-for-Profit, art direction and animated graphics.

The second of FCM’s customers, Kinexus, was recognized with a Davey for its outdoor billboard campaign which was part of its rebranding strategy. Kinexus started as a workforce investment board in southwest Michigan and has broadened its nonprofit service offerings to address gaps in workforce, business and community development.

The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the IAVA, a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current IAVA membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: Code and Theory, Condé Nast, Disney, GE, Keller Crescent, Microsoft, Monster.com, MTV, Push., Publicis, Sesame Workshops, The Marketing Store, Worktank and Yahoo!, and many others.

This is FCM’s seventh Davey in the past three years, and its ninth international award recognizing its creative team.
